arc building better business

Business Partners

arc is supported and funded by our corporate partners and led by our Founding Partners, BP & Deloitte. Founded on the principles of collaboration and partnership, arc’s corporate supporters work together to meet the needs of the arc’s social enterprises by providing access to experienced business leaders to deliver high quality, relevant, expert support.

arc's current business partners are all partners of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Together they are helping to create a lasting legacy for the communities of East London. Following the Games, arc will be expanding to other locations throughout the UK and will be seeking relationships with the wider business community to meet the ongoing needs of social enterprises beyond 2012.

We are grateful to our partners for their support and commitment.

Founding Partners

BP has been operating in the UK for over 100 years, growing over that time into a global energy group employing over 80,000 people and operating in over 80 countries worldwide. BP’s engagement with UK society and business has been built up during the years on the principle of mutual advantage. BP has a longstanding commitment to supporting the development of community capacity where we operate through focused community investment in local enterprise schemes and through employee volunteering. As an official Partner of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, BP is working to ensure a positive legacy after the Games for East London communities.

We are delighted to be supporting the development of arc, including sharing business expertise through our employees based in East London.

Deloitte, as the official professional services provider to the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, is proud to be a founding partner of arc, a Business in the Community (BITC) initiative to help contribute to a lasting social legacy for local communities in and around the Olympic Park. Deloitte believes passionately in the power of social enterprise and social innovation to not only bring about direct social and environmental change but influence the way in which all businesses operate in the future.

We are now extending our commitment to be at the forefront of driving growth in social innovation outside of our firm, utilising our core skills and expertise to deliver impact and help emerging social enterprises become investment-ready and achieve scale. We are doing this through our own social innovation programme and through working with the organisations that are part of arc.
