New fund to develop consortia for social enterprises

A new 1.5 million fund from the National Offender Management Service (NOMS) is the latest initiative to encourage and support social enterprises to form consortia to bid for Government contracts.

The ‘More than the Sum’ fund will provide technical and specialist support, as well as initial investment money to help develop the business model for projects that are seen as key to changing offender’s lives and reduce reoffending.

Circle Sports is a sport shop, trading in Westminster, with the core purpose to get local NEET’s (young people (many are 18-24) currently Not in Employment, Education or Training) into permanent employment, and apprenticeships.
